For MCX, the year is off to a good start!

MCX's building scores excellent according to the achieved BEEAM certification!

For MCX, the year is off to a good start! Indeed, after the latest modifications, our office building meets the conditions to obtain that coveted BREEAM certification. We have installed an insect hotel and hung bird houses, but also extended the energy management system so that we can measure the power consumption per group. All improvements to increase our sustainability. And as a result that coveted certificate. With, among other things, 114 solar panels, green walls that are computer-controlled and the location within walking distance of public transport, our building even scores 'Excellent' according to the sustainability criteria. So now we can rightly call our office the greenest building in Apeldoorn! 

 

But we are not only green on the outside, we are also committed to minimising our ecological footprint on the inside. For instance, we separate our waste as much as possible and MCX's vehicle fleet is completely electric. When it comes to data storage, we take a critical look ourselves at what needs to be kept and also advise our customers on how best to keep their data under control. By tuning databases or queries, we can shorten the throughput time which ensures lower power consumption. And when participating in (student) fairs, we choose sustainable promotional items. This is how MCX works towards a better and sustainable future.
