We would like to inform you of a change in the way we deliver our assurance reporting. Throughout 2016 MCX continued to provide you with the ISAE3402 Type II report (formerly known as SOC1 Type II). In addition, we will also prepare a SOC2 Type II report for 2016. However, 2016 will be the last year in which we will issue an ISAE report. From 2017 onwards the only report you will receive is the SOC2 Type II report. The reason for this change is that SOC2 reporting will guarantee additional security to clients. When comparing SOC2 to ISAE reporting, its main advantages are:
wider scope than ISAE3402;
more in-depth than ISAE3402;
more focus on data security.
Given the international nature of the reports as well as MCX's customer base, the report will be written in English. It is important to know that the scope of all ISO certificates will remain unchanged.
