Upgrade PeopleSoft Campus Solutions 9.2 successfully rolled out internationally for INSEAD

31-07-2018
The International Business School INSEAD, in cooperation with MCX, successfully went live on 23 July 2018 with the new version of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. INSEAD required this technical upgrade to ensure support for the application and the fact that version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55 offer more opportunities to develop user-friendly screens.

At the beginning of 2017 MCX already collaborated successfully with INSEAD in solving several performance problems. During the last HEUG EMEA INSEAD expressed the need for technical support with the upgrade to version 9.2 of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and the associated components, like people tools and the database version. The proven expertise and knowledge of MCX during the start-up phase convinced INSEAD to sign the proposal in December 2017. Together, they developed a plan of action to accomplish the upgrade.

A period of intensified collaboration between MCX and the different locations and time zones of INSEAD began, involving the business school's Shared Service Centre in Manilla and project staff in Fontainebleau (France). Within six months, MCX performed different iterations, solved some customisation issues as well as other findings. As a result, the new version went live entirely to plan on 23 July.
